Dr. Agnieszka Golian is Fellowship –trained in Pain Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Golian is Board Certified by American of Pain Medicine as well as the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Golian specializes in the treatment of back pain, neck pain, arthritis of the spine, headaches, joint pain, sports injuries, diabetic neuropathy, complex regional pain syndromes, failed back syndrome, and spinal stenosis.
Dr. Golian’s practice of interventional pain medicine is a combination of conservative therapy and minimally invasive pain management. Dr. Golian’s approach to each patient is as individualized as the patient she sees in consultation. Rather than starting or continuing long-term medication typically prescribed for the treatment of pain, Dr. Golian relies on a trial of physical therapy as well as non-surgical interventional modalities to target the root of each person’s painful symptoms, directly treating the cause. Dr. Golian’s ultimate goal is to get her patients to become pain-free, enabling them to lead their best lives.
